ENCLOSURES
ور
Your Tetter to Miss Ruston UR 7112/9/850 of the 26th August on the subject of U..R.R. A. assistance for Hong Kong.
Without going into all the points raised in paragrapha 2 and 3 of your letter, the majority of which could I think be disposed of satisfactorily, we have come to the conclusion that it is not worth while pursuing this matter since I understand it has now been definitely decided that U.N.R.R. A. should come to an end in December.
Subject, therefore, to any comments which you or Griffiths, to whom a copy of this letter is going, may have, we think that no further action need be taken unless and until the question is raised again by ashington or long Kong.
Yours sincerely,
